Supporting Our Residents: Donation Wishlist

Our 6-bedroom group home provides a safe, nurturing environment for Young adults with developmental disabilities. To help us maintain a comfortable and dignified home for our residents, we are seeking donations of new or gently used items.

🛏️ Bedding & Linens

Quality sleep is crucial for the well-being of our residents. We are currently in high need of:

• Bedsheets & Linens: Complete sets for Twin and Queen-size beds.

• Pillows: New or like-new Queen-size pillows.

• Blankets: Weighted blankets (highly valued for sensory needs), comforters, and throw blankets.

• Bath Towels: Large bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.

🍽️ Kitchen & Dining

Mealtime is a core part of our daily routine. We accept:

• Dinnerware: Durable plates and bowls (in both standard adult sizes and kid-friendly plastic/melamine options).

• Specialty Cups: Children’s sippy cups and baby bottles (BPA-free preferred).

• Utensils: Standard silverware and soft-tipped spoons for younger children.

🧸 Play & Development

We prioritize toys that are durable, safe, and foster sensory development:

• Age Range: Toys for infants through preschoolers.

• Types: Building blocks, sensory bins, musical toys, and interactive learning sets.

• Note: Please ensure that used toys are cleaned and have all original parts.

🛁 Personal Hygiene

To help our kids feel their best, we go through these items quickly:

• Hair Care: Tear-free shampoo and conditioner for kids; standard sets for older residents.

• Body Care: Gentle body wash, hypoallergenic soaps, and moisturizing lotions.

• Oral Care: Soft-bristled toothbrushes and kid-friendly toothpaste.

• Diapering: All sizes of diapers and sensitive-skin baby wipes.

🧺 Laundry & Home Care

Keeping our home clean and our clothes fresh is a 24/7 job. We are always in need of:

• Sensitive Skin Detergent: Large jugs of dye-free and fragrance-free laundry detergent (e.g., Tide Free & Gentle or All Free Clear) to accommodate residents with skin sensitivities.

• Fabric Softener & Dryer Sheets: Unscented versions preferred.

• Stain Removers: Pre-treatment sprays or sticks.

• Laundry Baskets: Durable plastic baskets or mesh pop-up hampers for the bedrooms.

• Cleaning Basics: Disinfecting wipes and multi-surface cleaners for high-traffic areas.

A Note on Condition: While we gratefully accept gently used linens and toys, we ask that hygiene products be new and sealed for the safety of our residents.
