At the heart of our community is a six-bedroom home built on love, security, and dignity for young adults with developmental disabilities. Creating a space where our residents can truly thrive takes a village—and a lot of daily essentials.
If you would like to help us keep our home cozy, comfortable, and running smoothly, we are always incredibly grateful for donations of new or gently used items.
A restorative night's sleep is everything. To keep our bedrooms cozy and supportive of everyone's unique sensory needs, we are looking for:
Bedding & Linens: Complete sheet sets for Twin and Queen-size beds.
Pillows: New or like-new Queen-size pillows to ensure proper support.
Blankets & Comforters: Cozy comforters, throw blankets, and especially weighted blankets, which provide immense comfort and sensory grounding for our residents.
Bath Linens: Large, soft bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Gathering around the table for meals is one of the most important parts of our daily routine. To keep our kitchen fully stocked and accessible for different needs, we welcome:
Durable Dinnerware: Sturdy plates and bowls, including both standard adult sizes and durable, break-resistant melamine or plastic options.
Specialty Drinkware: Easy-grip cups, BPA-free sippy cups, and bottles.
Utensils: Standard silverware sets as well as soft-tipped spoons.
We love filling our home with activities that foster growth, learning, and sensory engagement. We prioritize durable, safe items that span early development through creative play:
Interactive Toys: Building blocks, musical toys, and interactive learning sets.
Sensory Tools: Dedicated sensory bins and tactile toys.
Note: For the health and safety of everyone here, we just ask that any gently used toys are thoroughly cleaned and include all original pieces.
To help our residents feel their absolute best, we go through daily hygiene essentials quickly. We focus on gentle, skin-friendly products:
Hair & Body Care: Hypoallergenic soaps, gentle body washes, moisturizing lotions, and both standard and tear-free shampoos/conditioners.
Oral Hygiene: Soft-bristled toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Daily Essentials: Diapers (all sizes) and sensitive-skin baby wipes.
Keeping a large household fresh, clean, and healthy is a round-the-clock job! Because skin sensitivities are common among our residents, we strictly rely on gentle formulas:
Sensitive-Skin Laundry Supplies: Large jugs of dye-free, fragrance-free laundry detergent (such as Tide Free & Gentle or All Free Clear), alongside unscented fabric softeners, dryer sheets, and stain removers.
Home Organization: Durable plastic laundry baskets or lightweight, mesh pop-up hampers for individual bedrooms.
Everyday Cleaning: Multi-surface cleaners and disinfecting wipes to keep our high-traffic shared spaces sparkling.
Item Condition: For health and safety, we ask that all personal hygiene products be brand new and sealed. Clean, gently used linens, clothing, and toys are happily accepted!
Drop-off & Coordination: To coordinate a drop-off time and get directions to our location, please reach out to us directly through our contact page or give us a call.
